Do spacers hurt?!
Question: Ok, I just got spacers/seperators about 3 hours ago. They aren't hurting yet and they really don't feel sore at all. Will they start hurting later on? How much later? Also, what can't I eat with spacers?

They will, spacers suck. They normally hurt about a day or so then the real soreness/pain comes. You barely can eat anything when they start to hurt because it hurts... I ate anything I could, they will fall out anyways. But, leave them in, it will hurt more if you don't later on.
If they do start hurting, some aspirin or Motrin ought to take care of it. They won't hurt for long, maybe a couple days as your mouth gets used to them.
I wouldn't eat crunchy foods with them.
oh yes they hurt. well they hurt me a lot. i think anywhere from 9-14 hours theyll hurt. i hope they dont though i wouldnt wish it on anyone. hopefully im making it seem worse than it is, so you can be prepared. good luck. eat anything you can they recommend soups.

I've had both (the metal ones and rubber band ones) and they didn't hurt at all and I have a sensitive mouth. Eat anything, they just felt for me like I had a piece of apple skin stuck between my teeth.
