I have teeth located behind my wisdom teeth?
i recently got an ex-ray and they found teeth behind my wisdom teeth aparintly they are rare anyone familiar with this.
Answers:
Yes, those are extra teeth, and some people do have them. The fancy dental term for extra teeth would be "supernumerary teeth", or "compound odontoma."
If they bother you, or if they are hard to keep clean and have cavities/gingivitis, you can just get them extracted. No biggie.
