Answers: is chewing ice bad for your teeth???

if it is...i am screwed

ice=water

I do it all the time, and ive heard its bad 4 u but i'm not sure.

Some say yes due to the cracking of teeth. Others say no due to that you exercise your teeth. If you don't chew, your teeth will get weak and eventually, they will fall off.

I once asked that to a dentist and she told me chewing on anything hard is bad, although I really meant because they're cold, hope that helps.

chewing ice has never been a favourite advice by dentist but its not prove still that it can be harmful for teeth unless you have any fillied teeth and restorations in your mouth .

yes

it macks you need braces

Chewing it is because it is hard. It is bad if you have braces. =]

Yes it is a very hard substance and could harm your teeth. Also if you crave eating ice it could be a sign of anemia, I really don't know why but I have read that it is a sign of anemia-low iron in the blood.
