Does your dentist know your name and/or call you by your name?

just wondering.

i didn't think that my dentist knew my name, but he did. he called me by my name yesterday and i was totally shocked.

"dr. blah's 2:00pm appt. is here." no name

yes, i know my dentist's and hygienists names okay.

yup my dentist does know my name and i guess he knows my teeth too... coz when my sister went to him for the first time he asked her if she was related to me . When she asked him how he knew he replied , you both have the same kind of teeth... ( my sister looks nothing like me and she is married so we dont even have the same surname)FUNNY isnt it
