Are overbites genetic?!

Question: Would an overbite like this http://www.westonaprice.org/images/menta...
be genetic or does it have to do with how the teeth grow in?

the type of overbite that is caused by the mandible(the lower jaw) being too far back..

Yes, crooked teeth, small mouth, small palate, over/under bites can all result from genetics.

For example, Asian people tend to have more crooked teeth than a white person because of our small mouth and jaw. It's all passed down, but there some instances which heredity isn't the cause for an overbite etc.

THIS PHOTO IS A CLEAR EXAMPLE OF MANDIBULAR MICROGNATHIA. THIS IS OF GENETIC ORIGIN.

In the photo, it looks like it could be genetic. but I'm not an expert.
