Why do most japanese people don't visit a dentist?!

Question: japanese are among the best-paid people in the world (they have great salaries). yet everytime I see 1, can't help but notice the lingering bad tooth/teeth inside their mouths. im not singling out japan, in fact, uk, france, russia, and taiwan have bad dental fixtures. but in the us, spain, & germany most children go to their dentists and have their teeth fixed...

Big salary is not a hindrance to one's teeth-improvement yet people from these rich countries allow unproportioned teeth formations to exist...

In Japan and some other countries, people don't consider the apperance of teeth is as important as in US. Most people do go to dentist for check-ups, cleaning, or fillings for "dental health" but we don't care as much about spending money in whitening or braces. (except for models & actresses, I'd say)
Also, Japanese might be best paid but the living cost there is also very very high! Did you consider that...?
