If this is a "finger extraction" (almost ready to come out on its own) you might try rinsing with a little chloraseptic which has a mild anesthetic effect. Take a dry gauze square and twist.
It's better if you have someone do it for you--the angle (and vision) are better.

get some riesens(chewy chocolate caramel things) it will still hurt a little but it is the best way in my opinion, i've lost 4 teeth that way! :)

i assume it's a "baby" tooth, not a perm. Don't do anything 2 hasten or U R more likely 2 get infected. What's your hurry anyway ? Tooth Fairy ??
