How do people get canker sore's in there gums? like inside your mouth??!

Question: I'm not sure the exact reason, but I get them when I get stressed and they hurrrt. They are in your mouth and I have gotten them alot lately becuase of my braces and when I was younger I got them before I got sick.

I bite my fingernails. I get canker sores from that.
