I am Have medi-cal and they pay for root canals but don't allow any payment on the crown to finish the work.
It is like doing surgery opening the patient and fixing the problem but not being able to close the patient up. Why bother starting the root canal if you can't finish the job. The crown usually cost around $800 and up and most people on medi-cal can't afford that. So therefore you end up losing your teeth. More dental work and it is less cost effective.I really dont understand our government. We can spend millions of dollars in space but we can't help our people with health insurance. Why ?
