It shouldn't be a sugar problem that causes decay due to the fact the soda is diet. However, the concern with diet sodas now is that they contain acids in them and studies are beginning to show that they wear down your enamel. So, make sure that you don't sip it all day long as it will prolong the time the acids are on the teeth and brush, floss and use a fluoride rinse (like ACT or fluorigard) Hope this helps!
