I just got braces, I'm anemic, and a vegetarian. What should I eat?!


Question: From just getting the braces, my gums are very sore; so I can barely bite down on anything. Let alone I am also an "anemic vegetarian." It's very hard to figure out what I should be able to eat. I weighed myself and lost at least 5 lbs. in the 1st week of having braces already.

Any suggestions on what I can do until the pain from the braces are over with? Please help, I'm withering away...

if you loike tofu try that in small bits or suop or mashed carrots or patots mashed

try smoothies, shakes, soup, toast, even cake.
haha it may not be the most nutrishous things, but they'll do for now until the pressure from the braces ware off.
which by the way will be gone in probably 2 or 3 days

What did your Orthodontist advice you?? Try asking him/her?? I hope I could help.

Soft foods, like smoothies, yogurt, and milkshakes. They say don't chew gum, but it can actually help you cut down on the pain if you bite down on it, but only temporarily.

when i first got my braces i ate alot of apple sauce and peaches. dont do milkshakes it actually hurts when you suck out of the straw.
