What is it like to have braces???????

i went to the dentist and they said i mite need braces for the top because my middle teeth have a little space but my mom says she wants to get invisilines instead of metal then what can you not eat?is it true you have to wear a retainer afterwards and how do they put it on?the braces on?

by invisilines i mean the braces and how do i lose my teeth if the braces are on it and i just need the TOP!!!!!!!!!

YOU WILL WEAR A RETAINER AFTER. THEY PUT THE BRACES IT DOESNT HURT WHEN PUTTING IT
IT HURTS ALOT LATER THOUGH. THEN YOU GET USE TO IT AND IT STOPS HURTING.. TO TAKE THE PAIN AWAY YOU HAVE TO EAT SOMETHING COLD SO I WOULD EAT ICECREAM
*GREAT EXCUSE TO EAT ICECREAM IN THE WINTER BY THE WAY.YOU CANT CHEW GUM BUT I DID ANY WAY AND DONT BITE ON ANYTHING HARD. YOU WOULD ALSO TASTE THE METAL WHILE EATING SOMETIMES.
