Dry tongue/mouth, please help!!?!

Question: I'm a 49 year old woman, I have seen a doctor and dentist and they say after blood tests, I don't have Sjogren's Syndrome and I am not taking any medication. So does anybody have any other ideas as to why all of a sudden I have a dry tongue/mouth? Thank you

The best thing I have found is Biotene. They make a wonderful, alcohol-free mouthwash & toothpaste specifically for dry-mouth. This stuff really works! I've used it & really like it. Also, as a CNA, I have used it on elderly residents, especially those near death, who aren't taking fluids by mouth & breathe thru their mouths. We use Dentip mouth swabs & just dunk them, then swab out the mouth. Not enough is used to require that it be spit out. Also have taken it with me to the hospital when having tests that require fasting (colonoscopy) or out-patient surgery. The nurses always let me swish & spit the stuff. That dry mouth feeliing is the WORST!!!I buy it at the grocery or at WalMart--its around $5 a bottle, & should last about a month. You can use it as often as needed. Good luck!!!!

Drink some water

Drink Beer.

Have you been smoking Marijuana?

That gives you a dry mouth.

Eat some chewing gum, it ups the amount of saliva produced.
