After reading about not being able to get a NHS dentist....(UK)?!
Question: Do you think that people should start to put claims in against our NI payments because we are not getting the service we are paying for? I personally think we should get a rebate if you have to pay for private treatment because there is no dentist for 100 miles, which is the case in many areas now. Anyway whats your thoughts on this?

There is a big misunderstanding as to what NHS dentistry is.
The Government pay for dental services at hospitals and community dentistry, however when it comes to a general dental practitioner (similar to a GP) then the local health authority pay dentists to treat the general public.
If a dentist accepts NHS patients then that means that when s/he does the work on the patient the Primary Care Trust for your county pay a standard fee for the treatment carried out by the dentist.
So it might be you need 1 filling and the PCT will pay
