Ok wisdom teeth drama?!
Question: just got 2 out 5 daysago and yeah its heeling good but OUCH today i have a sharp stabbing pain in the tooth NEXT to the ones i had out
is that because all the swelling has gone down?
could it be an infection??

it's probably just a temporary pain and i wouldn't be surprised if it was gone in a matter of hours. worrying about it isn't going to help you either so try to keep a cool head about things and you'll get better.

it could be an infection. the doctors should have given you to antiboditics just in case this happens.

Anyhow...I know that you and I got them out I believe on the same day? Fortunately mine went splendidly, no pain, swelling or dry sockets. Had my follow-up 2day with my oral surgeon. Says I'm in the clear. I celebrated with a cheeseburger and a cigarette :)
Anyhow...its the tooth NEXT to the extraction? It could be a cavity that was caused by the crowding of the wisdom tooth perhaps. Do cold and sweets affect it? Call the destist/Dr. I'm sure they can get you right in.
