You should definitely ask your orthodontist the next time you go in for an appointment. You can tell them that you brush regularly but that your teeth are still get discolored. They may be able to get you a prescription for a special mouthwash or a toothpaste that will help with the color of your teeth =). Good luck!

might need to go to the orthodontist on this one!

what kind of material are your braces? If they are of some metal that afects your enamel or it may be from the demineralisation made before they have been applied. You may try baking soda this clean and whitening the teeth better.Ask your dentist to test the vitality of your teeth ,sometime if the nerve inside them died , they became yellow.

I'm a dentist, and I'd guess that you have clear elastics (rubber bands) around each of your brackets. These clear elastics will turn from clear to yellow over time. Most orthodontists have many colors to choose from that can be used rather than the standard clear elastics. Request a different color at your next adjustment.

If it is truly your teeth that are turning yellow, I've never heard of such a thing happening as a result of having braces, unless you're developing cavities around each of your brackets on every tooth, and that is very unlikely.

At any rate, I recommend seeking the consultation of your general dentist or your orthodontist to make sure whatever's going on is nothing to worry about.
