None, it has the main things dentists and dental hygienists look for in a toothpaste for people with thin or soft enamel or enamel with lots of wear (abrasion or erosion) and gum recession. It has a low abrasive forumla, meaning some toothpaste such as whitening or tartar control toothpastes have larger abrasive particles to better polish off stains and buildup, however for people with any of the above this is not always a good idea. So, the particles in ProNamel are smaller and less abrasive to only polish the plaque off while being very easy on the enamel to prevent further wear. It also contains fluoride to help strengthen the wear areas and prevent further wear or cavities. It also has potassium nitrate to help prevent/reduce sensitivity. However, it works best if 1 time a day you brush and don't rinse after brushing, just spit, and wait 30 minutes to eat/drink/rinse for 30 minutes. If you rinse the fluoride or potassium nitrate, it will not be able to work as well.

i hate to state the obvious... but why ask us on here... anything medical that can affect your health should def be directed to your doctor (or dentist in this case)....

hope this didn't sound insulting, but it is your health...

ASK AN EXPERT....

I spoke to my dentist about this product and he was happy with me using it, and I have sensitive gums.
