That happened to me more than once when I had my braces.

Don't get all upset it's no big deal.

My orthodontist told me it happened a lot (to different people).

All you have to do is call (or have a parent call) the dentist or ortho place and just tell them what happened and try to get an appointment for sometime with-in the next 3 days or so...

It'll be fine, trust me :D

Oh, and don't drink through a straw!!

You don't need to, and I don't know why that person said that!

Call your ortho. They'll put it back on.

Geez. Didn't they give you ANY instructions at the office?

DO NOT attempt a self fix!! Go to your orthodotist IMMEDIATELY or the stress on the other teeth and brackets may cause damage to your teeth.

go to the dentist.
I also had braces & i think i recall breaking a bracket also. It's no big deal.

Ive:
broken brackets
Have them fall off
Snapped the wire

P.S- have fun eating through a straw

Call your ortho office, they will get you in to re-cement the bracket. There is nothing you can do to fix this, it just happens sometimes.

There is no need to be upset or worried, like I said, this just happens sometimes so it's expected. Maybe the people above were treated differently when they broke brackets off, they shouldn't have been, but I don't know, all dentist do some things differently. Just don't make a habit of breaking the braces and you'll be fine.

Call the orthodontist, they will have to remove wire and cement a new bracket. It happens ofetn (I used to be an ortho assistant). I would wait to long because the tooth that the bracket came off of is no longer attached to the wire that is moving your teeth. So all the other teeth are still moving but that one isn't.

call your ortho asap

kkkk

tell ur denist bout it
its happened 2 me loads of tyms
