I am 90 and I have all my own teeth, should I take them out?!

Question: I do elder care, live in for a 90 year old woman with what looks like alzhiemers. I have been with her over 6 years.
She had a bridge fall our of her mouth so I took her to the dentist. I was shocked to learn she has a full upper plate.
She tells the dentist she is so PROUD to have all her own teeth.
The dentist tugs on the plate its in there really snug. She thinks he is crazy, for doing that, so of course, he wimps out and backs off.
I get her home try to get her teeth out,too snug,
Of course I am also crazy because I am trying to pull out her teeth.
The bridge that fell out is very old, the anchor teeth snapped. They have been dead a long time, old root canals.
She has never in the 6 plus years had infection, sores in her mouth and has always brushed them like real teeth.
The question is should I take her back and have the dentist take them out or preserve her dignity and just leave her be.
No health problems besides age and dementia.
Thanks for any answers.

SINCE THE DENTIST TRIED TO REMOVE THESE UPPER DENTURE AND FAILED, AND SINCE YOU COULDN'T DO IT EITHER, JUST LEAVE THEM IN AT THIS POINT.

No I would just leave them in
