Rubber Bands for braces.. Help plz.?

Ok i just got rubber bands and power chains put on my braces today. They hurt like heck. Do you know anything that will help with pain and how long will the pain last?

Everybody's pain tolerance is different. Take some Advil, Aleve, or Tylenol. Do not take more than the recommended dose!

You'll probably feel a little better in the morning. It just takes some time to get used to your teeth being moved at an accelerated rate. The power chains pull more which increases the discomfort.
