What could be wrong with my front right tooth..?!

Question: Every time i take a drink of not even cold water the nervs in my right front tooth just go off. It started about an hour ago after i had some chilly (which was warm) and two chocolate chip muffins, i went to take a drink of water which wasn't that cold, and my nervs go off like crazy. I saw a dentist 2 mons ago, i had a cavity which was fixed, i also have braces. So does anyone know whats the problem?, oh and i'm also starting to feel very sleepy, could i be coming down with something?
Thanks

I have exactly the same problem. I had a cavity in my right incisor, (my teeth overlap and it is impossible to even floss). Now whenever I drink hot and even lukewarm my tooth shrieks with pain :P. Even my molar which had a cavity hurts. It has something to do with the nerve within the tooth being damaged. But it could just mean extra sensitive teeth. it's not really a cause for concern, it happens only occasionally. If you think you have a cavity, then go to a dentist. And yeah Brett's right lol... there is a toothpaste for it... Sleepy? You could be exhausted or it could have something to do with an illness. But heck it has nothing to do with your tooth, don't worry.

Take care - and STAY AWAY FROM THE DENTIST!
lol

Extreme hot / cold sensitivity can mean the nerve is damaged, if it's stays to same over the next day or two you should visit your dentist.

They make toothpaste for sensitive teeth, try it:)
