How long can you wait before before putting in dental implants?!

Question:

How long can you wait before before putting in dental implants?

I recently had all my teeth pulled and received full upper and lower dentures. I want to eventually get the prostethis for the top and lower, but I know it's costly. How many years before I start losing to much bone to get the implants? I figure I can probably afford about 3 implants a year. Also, anyone know a good place in florida to get this done? My dentist now is kind of expensive.

Answers:

If you want implants, you should get an evaluation ASAP and see if you have enough bone to start with.

Since you have full dentures, as time goes by, your jawbones will shrink more and more and may become unsuitable for implants (if not already).

So get an evaluation, and make a tinely decision if implants are still an option for you.

Good luck.
