Is there an easy way to find a good dentist?

How can I find a good dentist in Toronto Canada (and surrounding area) that is reasonable in price? I always find the expensive ones for some reason. I want to pay $60 for a cleaning not $150. And how do you know if a dentist is good (besides the obvious). Thanks in advance for your answers.

If cost is a major issue for you, you might want to go to the dental school at the University of Toronto. They would charge about half what a private-practice dentist charges.

For things like cleanings (as well as other basic dental care), a dental school is a great place to go to.
