Sedation query?!

Sedation query?

Anyone ever been sedated, my 7 yr old son is getting a tooth out and is being sedated, i am very worried as i want to know will he feel it and be aware like they say??

Answers:

Sedation will just make him sleepy or relaxed. In addition to the sedation they will still numb the area with Novacaine (novacaine, carbocaine, lidocaine- whatever they use) and he should be just fine. The sedation will make it easier for him and easier for them to get the job done quicker so he can resume his normal kid-stuff with you quicker :o)
