Cost and effectiveness of NTI device?
My dentist has recommended the NTI-TSS as treatment for my TMJD. The cost is $440, which seems a bit steep to me for something so small. My insurance will not cover any portion. Has anyone else used this device with success, is it worth the cost, and what did it cost in your area of the country? Thanks!

My office charges $500.00. If you can not tolerate the pain it
is well worth the money. If your problem comes and goes and can be treated with ibuprofen then don't have one made. I have patients who praise the appliance, but only you know for sure if its for you.
