Don't you hate the dentists office?!
Question: I can never explain how my teeth feel. I have some pain and I could not explain it. So the dentist told me nothing. Now I am so sick of my teethalways have trouble with them. My 16 years of life I have never been satisfied with them so now I am getting braces.

I hated going to the dentist when I was young, but no longer.
I've been through braces, fillings (lots of them!), crowns, root canals, the whole bit. The secret is to think of the dentist as your FRIEND---he or she is there to help, not intentionally inflict pain.
The other thing Faraj is that if you don't like your present dentist, SWITCH. I have the most wonderful dentist alive, I think. His work is absolutely pain-free. When he told me I needed my first root canal, I was literally shaking; it turned out that I felt absolutely nothing, nada, zilch! I couldn't believe it after all the horror stories I'd heard.
There are a lot of dentists out there Hon; find one that's right for YOU, and dental work will be something you no longer hate :)
I hate the dentist. I have panic attacks just walking in the door.

Dentists always make me nervous, but with laughing gas I do very well. With the orthodontist, I never had a problem with them. They never hurt me so I didn't have a reason to be upset with them ever, haha.
i don't hate and i had to go to the ortho for three years. braces are no big deal. the only thing that really hurts is those stupid power chains. imagine someone putting a rubber band on one end of your teeth and stretching it across the whole row. now, imagine having two on each row and then one over the whole row. yea thats the only painful thing. you will be fine.. and just think you get to miss school to do it, yay.
heck, even the power chains had a good side. i got to miss 6th and 7th every friday for 6 months. how awesome is that?

I have always hated going to the dentist. Bleh. I actually went 3 years without ever going to the dentist because their mention of my wisdom teeth needing to be removed scared me away. Lo and behold.... wisdom teeth all gone thanks to an oral surgeon, and I've had several cavities that had to be filled within 2 months and I now have 3 more cavities within 2 teeth that need to be fixed. MEH!
um, maybe your teeth are moving and so it doesn't feel right.
