What do you do about...THE GAP!?!?!?!?
My biggest turn on is a great smile. I love perfect teeth.I had braces and my teeth are perfect now. I was wondering how a dentist or orthodentist fixes these problems. My boyfriend and I were arguing about how hard it would be to fix a problem like this. He said that it would take too long. I said it should actually be pretty easy. I could be wrong, but still. Does anyone know the approximate length of time for having braces to correct a gap? Thanks much!!!

Depends on the width of the gap.
In my daughters case it was about two years, but i know of people having 4 years of orthodontist corrective treatment.
An alternative is often to file down the 2 teeth either side of the gap and then put on one, two or three crowns to fill the gap completely, albeit with porcelain teeth.
I suppose there isn't any one correct answer, but loads of individual correct answers depending on the case.
