Can a wisdom tooth be pulled in the dentists' office, or...?!

Question: would you have to go to out patient surgery in the emergency room?

Answers: would you have to go to out patient surgery in the emergency room?

Yes, it can be pulled in the dentist's office. That is where I got mine pulled.

Rare for anyone to have to go to an emergency room of a hospital for an extraction. There are dental surgery centers in most larger cities that do that. Though most dentists today seem lazy to me and just won't pull teeth-and refer the case to a dentist that specializes in oral surgery.

It is usually done in the dentists office. The dentist can numb the area or put you to sleep to pull the wisdom teeth.

dentist office not sure where you live but they made me wait to send me to another dentist that did just those type of surgeries then again i had all four of mines pull at once and they was infected prior to i knowing the tooth aches was the dam wisdom tooths

yes it can or at home.

yes, it can be pulled in the dentists office. there are special type of equipment to pull special tooth. and you'll be operated in a dental chair no matter where,

Most general dentists will not pull wisdom teeth, if yours wont he/she will refer you to an oral surgeon. If you want to be asleep for the procedure go to an oral surgeon as most general dentists dont have the facilities to knock you out.
