I got 2 cavaties filled on Thursday (2 days ago) and it still hurts to eat or dr!

Question: Is this normal? Like because they are sore or still sensitive? Whats the deal??

Yes, that is normal. The new white fillings are great to have, but they can be very sensitive. It can also be because of how deep they had to drill because of how deep the cavity was. The sensitivity can last up to a month. If it persists longer than that, I would go to your dentist and ask what's up. Also, you could get Sensodyne (that toothpaste for sensitive teeth).

Good luck :)

Yes this is normal. The sensitivity can last up to a month. I recommend getting extra strength anbesol

you may be sore or have sensitivity for a couple of weeks, if this continues you will need to go back to the dentist and have them make sure that the filling isn't to high.(sometimes fillings that are to high just need to be adjusted and can make your tooth sore) if the cavity was deep and close to the nerve it will take longer for the nerves to calm down and the tooth to feel better.

my fillings -cavities or cavitys- where sensative for no more then a week max. jus do sumthin to take your mind of the pain. tv, books etc
