I can't chew on sugar or sugar free gum, is it bad to chew on facial tissue?!


Question: I can't chew with sugar cause i have a cavity, and sugarless like aspartame isn't good for me cause it aggravates my anxiety. now i can't stop chewing tissue! i don't eat it, i just chew on it? i am embarrassed but i am asking

First off, go to the dentist. It is painless and you will be glad that you did. You have to take care of your teeth - brush regularly and floss and see your dentist at least twice a year.
The cavity is only going to get worse, can become abscessed and painful and could lead to blood poisoning. So go to the dentist!!!
Then, stop chewing on Kleenex. If you want to have something, get some mints or hard candy.

Kleenex falls apart and will end up in small pieces that will go into your mouth/down your throat.
Don't do that.
Maybe chew on something a little more safe.

I think that sounds like pica,Minus the eating part.Find something safer to chew on.=]

Read the gum labels, I think Trident Sugarless Cinnamon does not contain sugar or aspartame.

Or break the chewing habit...

Tissue is not a good alternative.
