Ok this question may look weird but i am scared of the dentist?

i am scared of the dentist but i love looking at other peoples' teeth and i want to become a dentist.ive never been to one i am under 15 yrs old.I want to get braces cause i ve got a gap in my front teeth.I go into web sites and study everything about teeth!!!What do you advise me to do?

P.S:I ve got white stains on my teeth and my last upper and lower teeth are brown and pointy why is that?

twinkle its a priviledge to become a dentist but first you should conquer your fear.

how? interact with friends that had seen a dentist, sometimes they will scare the hell out of you even more, but dont fret, they are those scary cats as well, i guess that 7 out of 10 friends that youve ask will say that seeing a dentist isnt scary at all.

now concentrate on their thoughts and perception, then its your time to move a step further, visit your dentist, but not by yourself but you will just accompany your mom or dad, brother or sister, even friends, from there you will be able to feel the atmosphere inside the dental office.

next step, your actual visitation, but all you have to do is have your teeth checked, then next visit have your teeth cleaned ans so on...

with the white spots on your teeth, it seems to be fluorosis as you describe them, what i use is a tooth mouse that is topically applied to the teeth surface regularly, in a fews months time those spots will gradually disappear.

tip: see a good looking dentist, that will erase some fears, you could visit my office if you want=)
