It depends on what you have going on. You should probably see your regular Dr first. Simple canker sores can cause them, some STDs may cause ulcers, so can some allergies. Mouth ulcers are also sometimes a symptom of certain autoimmune illnesses. You might go to your regular Dr. and let them decide if you need a referral to a specialist, such as a Rheumatologist. Do you have any other symptoms, such as fever, fatigue, joint pains, unexplaied rashes, stomach problems? These may be other signs that you have something else going on. Good luck!
