Why do I have a yellow tongue?
Towards the back of my throat my tongue is yellow even after brushing my teeth and using mouthwash, why might this be?

Sometimes the bile from your stomach moves up your throat and lies on the top of your tongue. This is usually caused from an underlying virus like a simple cold. So if you also have a terrible taste in your mouth then I'd say that's what it is and it's nothing to worry about - it will go away, best to get some mouth wash
