I'm getting braces tomorrow. Any advice?!
Question: What color should I get? I'm deciding between metal or clear ceramic. I dont want gray because my brother has gray.
How long does it hurt for? Does it hurt for more than 3 days?
What should I eat tomorrow after I get my braces? I don't want to eat any foods that will mess up my braces the first day.
I have gum tissue between my teeth do i have to get that removed. Its barely any just about 1 piece of rice in size. How much does it cost?
Is the lower lingual arch noticable? Does it cause more pain?

I mix black with something else. I have a power chain this month which is like one big rubber band. Which is black.
It varies... mine hurt for about a week at first, it was only bad the first night though.
Eat stuff like soup. I ate at Taco Johns after I got mine and had tortilla stuck in my teeth.
Probably not. If you needed it removed then the ortho would probably tell you.
Not real noticeable. Not much pain.
Take some advil or ibuprofen and you will be just fine. Don't eat any hard foods for the first couple of days because your teeth will likely be sore. If money wasn't an issue I would do clear ceramic. But mine were metal. I promise you will be able to handle the pain, it's really not bad and it goes quickly.
make sure to take some pain killers, but just remember, lol, that it doesn't hurt while they're doing it, as long as you aren't fussing around a lot. I shouldn't hurt until about 2 hours later, give or take some. When it does start to hurt, your teeth will be sore for about 2 days. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR ICE CREAM!!!! lol, the worst part nowadays seems like the tightening to me ;) Don't go freaking out, it's nothing to get upset about. Really. And trust your orthodontist, they DO know what they're doing.
My son got braces in June. They hurt for a couple of days, but he took Motrin and that helped. They come on lots of colors. Whenever you go for a checkup, if they have to change anything, you can get different colors put on, so you can try out all different colors until you find what you like. My son ate soft foods for the first couple of days. I don't know about the gum between the teeth. If you have the appointment to get them on tomorrow, and the doctor didn't say anything about it being a problem, then don't worry about it. I don't know about the lower lingual arch thing. I would recommend taking some Motrin ot Tylenol before you go in. That way, if it does cause some pain, you're already ahead of it.
