Tooth Pull HELP!! I'm Scared?!

Don't worry, it's not THAT bad! I've had two pulled. The numbing shot they give you kind of hurts, but it's over in no time. After that, all you will feel is pressure and pulling. You will not feel any of the pain from this. You'll bleed for a while after wards. They will put a gauze in your mouth for the blood. The spot will be sensitive, and you'll get food stuck in there at first. But once the hole fills up with your gum... you'll be back to normal. Good luck! You can get through it!!!! Don't listen to Faithy!!! She obviously has never had a tooth pulled before!!!
Tell your parents to let the Dentist know this,that you want not to feel it.It is no big deal,it is better than a tooth ache.
i would say be honest to your dentist, these days they have advanced ways of keeping pain to a minium, my mate got his out and his was an adult tooth and he didnt even feel it, as yours is a baby tooth your shouldnt feel too much dis-comfontant
I had eleven teeth pulled. I was 12 also...before I had to get braces :0)
They'll give you novacaine so you'll just feel a little pull and the tooth is out. If you're that scared, maybe they can give a little laughing gas (it'll just make you a little dazed).
The worst part about it was that I was bleeding and it took a few days for me not to taste the blood in my mouth. Good luck, though! You'll be fine.
It doesn't hurt. How do I know you may ask, well about a month ago I also got a tooth pulled out. They first inject you with a liquid so your gums will go numb and you won't feel any pain, but it doesnt hurt it's like a little pinch. Then they pull your tooth out! I suggest you close your eyes while they are doing this and think about something positive, something you like doing. It only takes about a few minutes trust me it doesn't hurt. Its easy, fast, and simple.
i am also going to the dentist tomorrow and i might get a root canal!!! im 13 years old and i am really scared!!! when you go you could bring your ipod or cd player and turn it up really loud so u dont hear anything!! and its better to go so it doent get worst. all they do is give you a shot that numbs your whole mouth so you dont feel a thing and then they pulled it out.. i got my teeth pulled out and it wasnt that bad!!!
I get scared too when I used to pull my baby teeth out. Just think about this. When you pull it out there's like 5 seconds max of pain. If you take out your tooth later, you will have to get braces in the future. and trust me braces...oh my god..
I just had 2 teeth pulled out. The important thing is to relax. I was so nervous that i got sick. I just wanted to wish you the best of luck. Remember, JUST RELAX!!!!!
I have to go to the dentist today for a check up, and I've seen my own mother have a few teeth pulled. The trick is to not think about your tooth/teeth. Think of something positive or think of what else you're gonna do today. :)
As for the pain-- I'm not sure. They do give you a numbing injection, and from what mom told me-- you would only feel a little bit of pulling. Good Luck!
