Whats the best age to book a childs first appointment with the dentist?

Very young! I started bringing my son with me when I had a dentist appointment from the time he was a baby. When he got a little older, the dentist let him check out the chair and showed him some of the equipment. When it was time for him to go to the dentist, he was very excited about it and he has never been worried about going there. Make sure the child doesn't think it should be a scary experience.
