Damon braces???!

Damon braces???
Do the Damon braces look better in appearance than regular braces? My orthodontist offers only one kind of braces, which are the Damon braces, which surprised me b/c i thought u would have to pay extra for them, but i didn't have to. Are they thinner than regular ones? And can eat better foods with them than regular braces?

a girl that used to work for me had them. the clear like hockey mouth guard thingy, right? well if not then nevermind this, but from my stand point, i thought they were great. it made her mouth sore every now and again, but you can hardly notice them, you must keep them clean, but they really just make your teeth look super shiny, and thats better than a mouth full of metal, i had those ones, they sucked! however, the clear like ceramic type braces, those make your teeth look gunky and dirty all the time, so i would recommend the invisalign/damon style.
