Wisdom teeth removal?!

Question: I had braces a few years ago, and my smile is apparently "beautiful." And I worry that I should get my wisdom teeth removed. I'm a big baby with pain and needles. But.. Do you think that if I don't they'll wreck my smile in the long run?

Some people don't have enough room in their mouths for their wisdom teeth. This can cause problems later.
Barring this, there is no reason to get them removed if you plan to keep them clean.
The process of removing teeth, especially the uppers, is mildly dangerous because there are nerves in the vicinity. Some people lose the feeling in their lips or the front of their mouth if the upper wisdom teeth are moved about too much during removal. That's why you have a sign a document saying you are aware of all this. Please ask your oral surgeon for a copy of the agreement to study before the extraction - like a week before.
Bacteria wreck the teeth and stopping them is actually chemical warfare. there are two steps - dissolving the sticky plaque that the bacteria secrete which they call home, and then killing them safely.

Chemical 1 - dissolve the plaque. Mix up a weak solution of vitamin C powder and use this as a mouthwash. You have to rinse out the vitamin C because if left in, this will etch the enamel slightly. Of course there are are the plaque mouthwashes that are supposed to get rid of the sticky plaque.

Cranberry juice will also dissolve the plaque, and it cleans out the kidneys and prevents urinary tract infections. Urinary bacteria do the same thing as the tooth bacteria, they make a plaque to keep them from being washed away. That's right - cranberry juice is a great mouthwash.

Chemical 2 - kill the bacteria. there are so many. I would avoid the fluorine-containing toothpastes and wouthwashes because fluorine depresses the thyroid. Hypo-thyroidism will make you feel tired much of the time and also you will gain weight and lose some of your hair.

In Europe, if the thyroid is too active they will slow it down with sodium fluoride. If you are normal, using flouride toothpaste etc will slow it down below normal and lower your metabolism.

Rinse your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide three times per day.

Make up some water with garlic in it. Crush the garlic fresh and put it in the water and strain it through a coffee filter. No bacteria known (all 735 of them) can live in garlic.
Cayenne pepper is a bacteria-cide. This will sting a little but won't hurt. Taking cayenne pepper every day will give you a better complexion than any cosmetics, no matter how expensive.

Probably.

Yes, just a few months after I got my braces off my dentist told me that I should have my wisdom teeth cut out before they come in or else I would have to get braces again!! Of course I was not having that, so I had the surgery and my teeth are still beautiful almost 15 yrs later.

Some people have problems with their wisdom teeth coming in, some don't.
It's not a fact that you will have to have yours out someday.

I didn't have problems with mine coming in, until I got a bad cavity in one, so I had to have it removed.
It's nothing to be afraid of, in fact, it's easier than regular fillings or whatever, because they put you to sleep.

It's like this; they give you a little shot, they ask you to count to ten, you get to about 7 and instantly, they're helping you out of the chair because it's done!
I'm serious, it's just like that.

Only your dentist can tell for sure with x-rays. Once in a great while they might be lined up to come in straight, but that is a rare occurrence
