Another teeth whitening question.?!

Question:

Another teeth whitening question.?

Recently, I've been using hydrogen peroxide on my tooth brush to attempt in whitening my teeth. I'm farily new to this, and I've seen so many opinions that contradict each other. What I'd like to know, is if my technique is harmless, or dangerous. I pour a small amount of HP into the bottle cap, dilute it with water, and then pour it on my brush. Then I use regular toothpaste. Then I rinse with water, then scope. Is that safe? I've only been doing it for about a week now. Oh, and please have some knowledge of the subject before answering, thank you.

Answers:

I whiten my teeth twice a day. In the morning I brush my teeth and then Rinse with the Crest Whitening Rinse after flossing. At night though I rinse with HP after I floss and then use the Whitening Rinse. I have been doing this for the last two weeks because I recently stopped smoking, and now my teeth are good as new. The advantage to the Rinse over the strips is that it whitens between the teeth and on top of your back teeth too, where as the strips only whiten the fronts and backs of your back teeth.

My dentist told me that using the HP as a Rinse was fine, as long as I didn't swallow any of it. There are actually directions on the bottle for how to use it this way. It also kills all of the germs in your mouth, an added plus.

So no I dont think there's anything wrong with what you are doing! Good Luck!
