Ahh! Gum stuck on retainer!!?

Help! I got some Trident gum stuck on my retainer.. how do I get it off? It's REALLY sticky.

how long can i stick it in the freezer for without having it break?

you can try puttng it in the freezer for a little bit until the gum gets hard. then try to pick it off. sorry thats all i can come up with. good luck!
