Anyone had veneers placed on their teeth?
Tell me more about it please. Cost, procedure, how long does it last? Are you pleased with the results?

I've never had then myself but I'm a dental assistant and have assisted with the procedure a number of times...First what happens is the doctor will number the area that will be worked on then he will reduced the tooth with the "drill" into little stub looking pieces of tooth then take an impression that will be sent to the lab to have the veeners made then make the temporaries and place them. You will then when you have time go to the lab that is making them and they will get a shade that you like and that looks good with your complextion and so on....Then in about 3-4 weeks you will come back in and have then placed on permantly....They cost about 700-1000 per tooth depending on where you live. the normal teeth to have veneers placed on are the front teeth from canine to canine. They last about 10years as long as they are taken care of properly and may last longer but if just depends on that...All of our patients have loved theirs and they looked great....Good Luck
