I just got my braces off?!
Question: they are straight and nice now. but when i look in the mirror they look bigger and make me look weirddd.
lol i want my braces back on :p
will i get use to it & does everyone feel like that when they get their braces off????

i had braces a long time ago. when i got mine off, my teeth looked smaller! =P it feels weird at first, but you will get used to it.. you should be happy that you got your teeth straight, some people can't be as fortunate as us.
I got my braces off about 2 or 3 years ago.
You will get used to it.
I didn't feel that way because I have been ridiculed about my teeth before that.
I thought mine looked perfect.
You WILL get used to it.

Omg, mine were supposed to be off in two days, but my orthodontist says I have to have them on for longer! I'm soo mad. =[
I think it's normal, lol. You just have to get used to it the same way you did when you first got your braces.

I'm sure your teeth aren't bigger, they probably just look like that because you were so used to wearing your braces which kind of covers up teeth. I'm know you still look beautiful, and I know you always will. Just enjoy your new teeth, and don't forget to smile! :)
I will be getting mine off permenately, soon... but I had to get a reposition (they took off the brackets and moved them around) and I felt the same way when I looked in the mirror while they had be brush my teeth before they put them on again. It's just because your not used to it.
Dont worry about it. I just got my braces off a month ago and i felt the exact same way. I asked my friend and she did too. Dont worry its totally normal and soon enough you will get used to it and love your teeth.
Yes. I remember my teeth seemed huge after seeing them with braces for 2 years. They also feel all slimy as well coz you're so used to the metal being there.
I got used to it after a week or so!
It is okay.You will get use to it. My dad got his braces off and he doesn't feel different and I have my braces on to and am going to get it off soon. I had a palate expander in my mouth for about a year. It felt wierd for a while but now, i feel regular!!!!
yup thats how i felt, when the dentist told me my braces where comin off i was all happy.
but then i started missing them cuz i felt like i had horse teeth (they felt so big without the brackets) but u'll get use to the new feeling n trust me u wont want ur braces back on lol
