Gargle a cup of lukewarm water mixed with salt or half a lemon juice. This is best done before going to bed. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. More useful remedies at http://useinfo5.blogspot.com/

I use to have bad breath, but I started to brush my teeth with baking soda. Now, my breath is fresh.

The Waterpik is good but do not use it instead of flossing. To minimize bad breath, brush, floss and rinse with mouthwash 3 times a day or after every time you eat. If it still persists, see your dentist.

You need to first make sure you have proper oral hygiene. Brush atleast two times a day, floss once a day, and also make sure you are brushing the far back portion of your tongue, even if it gags you. If you are doing all of these steps and you STILL have bad breath, then you should talk to your dentist at your next cleaning (you should also have your teeth cleaned every 6 months). It could be a systemic condition.

Floss daily.

Brushing is critical of course, but often the tongue is the culprit and they have a special appliance for cleaning the tongue, but brushing it will work to. Waterpik is good, but a good ol' fashioned brushing may be all that's reaquired. Bad breath can also be a result of what you eat. For instance, if you eat a lot of garlic, once it goes into your stomach it mixes with stomach acids and it creates a chemical change, then it causes like a gas to go to your lungs and everytime you exhale this smell comes out. No amount of brushing can help a thing like that, but eating parsley might help.

bad breath does not run in the family. I guess laziness does or illiteracy. The proper method or brushing & flossing will do the trick, but first check up with your dentist & see if its your teeth & gums causing it or some thing else. Sour throat or lung infection too can cause bad breath.
The cause could be due to plague & calculus stuck on your teeth. Plague can be removed by brusging & flossing but calculus, you need to see your dentist. Bad breath & bleeding gums go hand in hand.

you have to make sure that its ur teeth thats the problem, not ur tonsils, nor any systemic disease etc etc,,,
then whether its cuz u have plenty of tooth decay, or plenty of gingival pockets from lack of proper oral hygiene
if it is the teeth then proper oral htgiene will do the trick, daily brushing, flossing and rinising with a mouthwash would be more than enough to drive any bad smell away!
and as for using baking soda, defintely not a good idea , it will ruin the surface of the teeth by time cuz its abrasive , i bet ur teeth r whiter now! sooner it will errode the outter tooth surface leavin ur teeth sensitive!

A bad breath herb treatment could be your key to bad breath. It has grown marketability to flavor the whole thing from candies and liqueurs to toothpastes, peppermint works well as a bad breath herb remedy. A bad breath herb treatment concocted of coriander is a Cantonese folk medicine for bad breath. To use this bad breath herb solution, add a few ounces of fresh coriander (also known as cilantro), to two cups of water and boil for a few minutes. While this bad breath herb is potent antiseptic, aromatic peppermint oil is toxic and should never be ingested.

i do not think that bad breath can run in the family. i guess if all of you in the family have history of gum disease and oral problems as well as illness in the stomach then it could be that bad breath could be family thing.

first and foremost you must be able to know the causes of bad breath like tooth decay, disease in the gums, having dry mouth and dirty mouth, medications, eating a garlicky meal, having poor oral hygiene and stomach related illness.

it is always a must to properly brush and floss teeth every after meal for it can help remove plaque and tartar. the use of an all natural oral care product can best compliment your oral habits for it can keep the mouth salivated and hydrated.

have the habit to drink adequate amount of water to keep the mouth hydrated and keep bad bacteria in the mouth under control. have a regular visit to the dentist to check oral health status. for more tips to cut bad breath out of you visit http://www.oramd.com
