just don't eat hard food, or your brackets will pop off..
you can drink any thing when you braced up, the only restriction is to avoid eating those things that are hard and also do not eat anything directly, eg- do not eat apple directly, or do not eat burgers and other such sort of stuffs....

i got my braces and i eat and drink every thing gum, pretzels,chocolate, burgers, milk shakes, chewy candy.
the dentist says u cant eat hella stuff but it depends on if u just got ur braces u shud wait 2 wkz but u can drink stuff cuz when i got my braces the first day i had a milk shake and a burger
