Im havin braces.?
im havin braces, yesterday i had the seperaters put in, but they really hurt! How long will they hurt for and when the fixed brace goes on will it hurt even more??
Answers:
It's normal for there to be a bit of pain. Think the separaters are putting constant pressure on your teeth to seperate so it's bound to hurt a bit.
The pain goes away though, I promise. It should be sensitve for about a week and when your brace goes on again, it'll hurt a little bit, might be a bit uncomfortable to eat for a while too because your teeth become really sensitive from the constant pressure.
Then when you go to the dentist (usually every 2 weeks, depends on your orthodontist) and they tighten it, it'll hurt again for a week or so because they're applying more pressure.
It's not that bad though, don't worry about a thing. And your teeth will look awesome after so it's worth it =D
