Lip Piercings and Oral Surgery?
I'm getting my lip pierced soon....but in a few months I need to have surgery to get my wisdom teeth removed. I'm wondering if I can leave the piercing in or if I can put a stud or something else in the hole so it wont close up during the surgery.

your only problem is that you are going to have a pierced lip. i love seeing kids in my office with big pusy swollen lips from the infection that can ensue. i've seen some pretty nasty stuff from oral piercings. maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones.
