Tooth Pain when sucking through a straw?!

Question:

Tooth Pain when sucking through a straw?

I had a cavitiy filled a couple of months ago. I had a lot of pain in that tooth for about a month after I had the cavity filled and it finally stopped hurting and wasn't as sensitive. Now recently it has begun to hurt again, most especially when I like suck on a straw or something in my mouth, it feels like the filling is moving out or something but I'm nor sure if that is what is happening or what. Also there's just been general pain in that tooth for the past couple of days, I also have a bad earache, what do you tihnk is going on and do you think I should go to the dentist or wait it out?

Answers:

i reckon you should see a dentist. there might still be bacteria present in the root. the longer you wait, the higher the risk. your root might have also become infected and if it isnt treated, you might lose them.

be safe and go see a dentist.
