Wisdom toothh pain relief?
(hopefully) my last wisdom tooth is growing in, and is causing extreme pain. The gums are extremely agitated and red and inflamed. the Entire side of my mouth hurts, and Im having difficulty swalloing. I have been taking extra strength pain relievers like they are candy, and they arent doing anything. What can i do to help relieve the pain?
I am starting my new job today, and I have my internship tuesday wendsday and thursday, therefore the very earliest i could see a dentist is friday.

You definately need to see a dentist for this one! The fact that it's that sore and swollen indicates that the gum is infected. It may be impacted and unable to push its way through the gum. The dentist may be able to make a small incision to let the tooth come through. Alternatively, he or she may have to pull it depending upon how infected the gum is.
