What's the best remedy for small hole in my mouth?

I have a small hole right between my gum and inside lip. I don't know how I got it and it hurts.

It sounds like it could just be a canker sore. You could have gotten it from eating sweets.

Try not to rub it with your tongue. Playing with it will only make it hurt worse. Drink lots of water and avoid candy and sweets at least until it's healed.

You can apply a pain relief gel like Anbesol or Orajel directly to the little hole. That will help numb it. But usually eating and drinking washes the gel away and so you have to reapply often. Use just a dab on a Q-tip to apply it (you can use your finger, but Q-tip is easier).
