Is this a plausable reason to sue?!

Question: Okay, well I've been seeing my dentist and orthodontist for years. Well, I got braces a couple years ago. The only problem is I was missing a tooth, so I had a ponic placed on my braces and stuff once my top teeth started straightening out. They said I wasn't born with that tooth. But when I was little, they said I had an extra babytooth and removed it because the other tooths roots were growing in behind it,(that was around the same area of my missing tooth.)
Once I got my braces off, I had a retainer with a tooth placed on it. And i wore it when I ate at school etc, because I was embarassed.
LAter in for another checkup they gave me a clear essex retainer witha tooth, and you can't even notice it.. but I continue to eat with it... and avoid questions of other people.

I feel as if my orthodontist has neglected my dental health, because it had been more than 8 months, since my "routine" ortho visits. and they said well we need to xray your mouth and see if your bones have stopped

Actually, extra teeth and/or missing teeth are quite common and not neccessarily genetic-related. But if you are uncomfortable about it you can request to see your patient record. Patient records are property of the patient, not the dentist. They are just kept in the dental/medical office for convenience purposes but you can request to see it. There are dishonest people in every profession, but most likely your dentist is NOT trying to screw you over. But definitely check it out or get a second opinion. Documentation is KEY. If everything is well documented and you agreed to it, there might not be much you can do, but if it's not well documented, you might have a case.

you have to ask this question under the LAW catagory....you need to have enough documents to prove what u say

I'm sure.
Sounds as if you have had great care and now it's time for the implant and you are tired of paying.
This is not an unusual situation. Supernummary baby teeth are common and don't even remotely resemble permanent teeth. Sounds like your orthodontists office has worked hard to do everything it can to make you lokk your best!
Stop looking for bad guys and realize that sometimes things are what they are and no one is pulling a fast one.
If you want, go somewhere else for the implant and crown. that way you are spending your money somewhere that for sure couldn't have taken advantage of you, yet. I'm sure, by the time they finish, you will want to sue them, too.
How about your Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Parents, Teachers, I'll bet they've done some stuff to you that you could sue them for, just a suggestion.
